The Moodle course is not displayed

If you cannot find a particular Moodle course, this can have various causes.

In general, you can call up all courses in which you are registered as a participant directly after logging in to Moodle in the Course overview section. There you have various filter options to display your courses.

If you have problems finding a specific course in Moodle, please note the following information:

Moodle courses that have been newly created are initially not visible to students. Especially at the beginning of a new semester, it may therefore happen that a certain Moodle course is not displayed to you, even though you are already registered in it via the TUCaN-Moodle interface .

Only when the responsible teacher switches the course to visible will the course be visible to students in the course overview. This also applies in the event that students have already been enrolled in the corresponding Moodle course by the TUCaN-Moodle interface.

Within the course overview you have the possibility to filter. You may have selected one of these filters which does not show your course. In the filter overview, you can also select Removed from view to display the courses that you have removed from the course view at an earlier time.

If the missing Moodle course is an interface course , please first make sure that you are correctly registered in TUCaN for both the module and the desired course. Also check that there is no pending registration, otherwise the automatic transfer to Moodle will not work.

If the Moodle course you are looking for is not assigned to a TUCaN course, please register via the Moodle course catalogue .

Some registrations need to be confirmed in TUCaN before you are transferred as a participant to the associated Moodle course. As long as your registration has not been confirmed on TUCaN and is therefore pending, you will not be able to access the linked Moodle course.

Subsequent enrolments in TUCaN courses from previous semesters are not automatically transferred to the corresponding Moodle course. The TUCaN-Moodle interface only transfers participants from the current semester.

In case you need access to a Moodle course from a previous semester, please contact the instructor responsible for the course, or alternatively contact the .
