Invitation to the E-Learning Roundtable on 21 March (3 – 4:30 pm)

Topic: GameTULearn: Quest editor for teaching

2024/02/13

We would like to warmly invite everyone who is interested to our next E-Learning roundtable! We are looking forward to the exchange on the topic “GameTULearn: Quest-Editor for Teaching” in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology.

The integration of game-based concepts into university teaching offers many new and innovative opportunities. The “GameTULearn” project in the Serious Games working group at the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology combines this with immersive 3D learning areas. These can be created with little effort and without programming knowledge using a specially developed authoring environment, known as the Quest Editor. Three use cases are being developed in collaboration with the Department of Remote Sensing and Image Analysis, the Department of Biology and the Institute of General and Vocational Education, and corresponding scenarios are being developed and tested with teaching staff and students.

At the Roundtable, Sabrina Vogt and Florian Horn from the working group Serious Games will report on the current status of the project and provide exciting insights into design and implementation options.
