Recording room (self-service)

In our recording room at the Campus Stadtmitte, we offer a place for audio recordings and the production of educational videos. After appropriate instruction from us, you can create recordings independently (in self-service) using a microphone and/or pen tablet, in front of a green screen or with a glassboard. If required, we will also be happy to support you with the post production!

Request for using the recording room

If you want to use the recording room, simply request via .

We will work on your request as soon as possible and contact you to arrange an appointment for the briefing and guidance of the technical recording equipment. If needet, we also offer support with the post-production of your audio and/ or video files.

Note: Students are only allowed to use the recording studio for a course of the university (the lecturer, alternatively the respective department, is responsible for the compensation of any damages).

Do you know the TU's central video studio?

This is available to members of TU Darmstadt for the production of high-quality videos and live streams in the areas of teaching and public relations. In contrast to the recording room, use is only possible with assistance.
