Ensure sufficient contrast
For people with visual disabilities and good readability for all
To ensure that content is easily recognisable, make sure there is sufficient contrast between the foreground and background colours and between the text and background colours.
This reduces barriers, especially for people with visual impairments. But it also improves readability for everyone. Eyes tire less quickly. Content remains easy to read even in poor lighting conditions.
