As the name suggests, the “Recently accessed courses” block lists the courses you have recently accessed. Please note that if a course has not yet been switched to visible (e.g., before the start of the semester), it will not appear in this block.

In the course overview block, you can see all the courses in which you are enrolled in Moodle. Teachers can also see courses here that are currently hidden from students, marked accordingly. Students only see courses once they have been switched to visible.

Using display filter

You can use the filters to configure the content displayed. For example, you can only display courses from a specific semester, determine the sort order or select a different type of display. These settings are persistent and are therefore retained the next time you log in.

You can also use the search field to search all your courses for a specific course.

Labeling courses as favourites

You can also mark courses as favourites (“Star the course”) in the course overview.

You can then use a filter to list only your favourites in the course overview. The filter is called “Starred”.

You also have the option of customising your dashboard according to your needs and, for example, including additional blocks or hiding existing ones.

To do this, go to edit mode using the corresponding button at the top right. You can now select from the list of available blocks via “Add a block” and then drag and drop the desired block either in the centre area of the dashboard or in the block bar on the right.

You can also hide existing blocks or remove them completely if you do not need them.

If you have accidentally configured something incorrectly, you can click on the “Reset page to default” button at any time to restore the default configuration we have set.
