Login Issue on Moodle

When you visit the Moodle login page, your browser stores data like cookies and cache files in the background to speed up loading times for future visits. Sometimes, this stored data can become outdated or corrupted, leading to issues with page loading or authentication.

Common signs of this include:

  • The page doesn't load correctly or freezes.
  • You enter the correct login credentials, but you are redirected back to the login page.
  • Error messages appear.

The incognito mode is a special browser window that operates without the influence of cached data or cookies. This allows you to test if the issue is related to stored data. If you can log in successfully in incognito mode, the problem is likely with the cache or cookies in your regular browser window.

To fix the problem, you can clear your browser’s cache. This will remove outdated or faulty data, and your browser will reload the webpage as if you were visiting it for the first time. After clearing the cache, try logging into Moodle again.

If the problem still persists after clearing the cache and using incognito mode, it could be due to other factors, such as:

  • Incorrect login credentials (double-check your login details).
  • Server issues on Moodle (especially during peak times or maintenance).
