Finding Moodle Courses via Course Catalogue

Available Moodle courses can be found via the Moodle course catalogue.

The Course catalogue lists all available Moodle courses sorted by semester and subject area. You can access the course catalogue via the main navigation in Moodle. Depending on the screen size, you will find the Course catalogue either directly in the navigation or after clicking on More.

You can navigate through the catalogue or search for the desired Moodle course via the Search Courses field. If the course can be found, you can enrol in it by clicking on the course title. This is only possible, however, if the course has been activated with the Self-Enrolment function or is accessible via Guest Access .

You will usually be given enrolment keys or passwords by the relevant teaching staff at the beginning of the semester. If this is not the case, or if you have not been informed of this, please contact the instructor responsible for the course.

Important:

Students must be registered separately in Moodle courses that are not linked to TUCaN. Students can either be added manually by the lecturers responsible for the course, or they can gain access to the desired course via a set-up Self-Enrolment .

The transfer of students to Interface Courses , on the other hand, is automatic.
