Roles and Rights
Instructors
Instructors have all rights within a course. They can also use course backups and assess students.
Assistants
Assistants have all the same rights as instructors within a course. They can also use course backups and assess students. However, they are not displayed as instructors and can deregister from courses themselves.
Tutors
Like instructors, tutors can make most course settings and edit content but cannot create or view user assessments or create course backups.
Students
Students generally have fewer rights within a course and take on the role of participants.
